HR Consultant at the Swedish Parliament Administration
The Swedish Parliament Administration is an authority tasked with facilitating the work of the Parliament. Approximately 700 politically neutral employees work at the Administration, handling many different types of tasks.
Do you want to work in a unique workplace close to the heart of democracy? Do you enjoy having a wide variety of tasks within the HR field, focusing on consultative managerial support? Then seize the opportunity to become part of our HR team, which consists of 13 employees.
The HR unit works to create an attractive workplace, with the right skills in the right place within the organization. The unit is responsible for driving and developing the strategic and operational HR work within the administration. We are constantly working to develop our methods and see collaboration within the unit and within the administration as a crucial factor. Our mission involves steering, developing, driving, and supporting the organization in matters related to leadership, employee relations, competence supply, work environment and wellness, salary formation, labor law, organizational culture, and equal treatment. HR provides ongoing support to managers and employees and is responsible for personnel and payroll administration.
Your Responsibilities
The focus of the position is to work as consultative support to managers in the organization. You will work broadly with all HR-related issues and are expected to provide qualified support to managers in HR processes such as recruitment and hiring, work environment, salary setting, as well as employee and leadership development.
In addition to managerial support, you will also have one or more areas of specialization where you are expected to take a more strategic responsibility for developing, implementing, and following up on processes and methods. You will involve, coordinate, inform, and educate both your colleagues and managers within your area or areas of specialization. Some administrative processes are also included in this position.
For the best collaboration and knowledge transfer, we rotate specialization areas and support each other.
Your Qualifications
We want you to have:
- a university degree in HR or another education that we consider equivalent
- several years of relevant experience in HR work in a broad role where you have independently driven and been responsible for processes in various areas
- several years of relevant experience providing support to managers in the HR field with a coaching approach
- competence and experience in development work within HR
- experience working with various digital systems and tools
- the ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
Experience with similar tasks in government operations as well as experience with procurement and orders is meritorious.
We value your personal qualities and are therefore looking for someone who has the ability to develop a trusting collaboration with the authority's managers and colleagues. You are driven and responsible, performing your work carefully and with high integrity. Furthermore, you can independently organize, plan, and prioritize your work while acting with credibility within the organization. The tasks also require good strategic ability, a holistic view, and the ability to consider the needs of the organization. We would also like you to find it enjoyable to present our various HR processes.

The position is classified in a security class, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance.
